On Sunday 16th June, Luke Charters welcomed Angela Rayner to York College. Angela told the assembled audience that their support was needed to help “turn York red” on election day. Angela was joined by television presenter June Sarpong, who was travelling on the battle bus with her. She answered the audience’s questions about what it was like to work in the House of Commons, how she felt when Rishi Sunak called the general election and her ambitions for a Labour government.
