On 20th June Labour Leader Sir Kier Starmer and Luke Charters, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for York Outer, visited the Germany Beck housing development in York. Here Starmer criticised the impact of ‘delays’ to projects which would enable young people to get on the property ladder, with the Germany Beck Estate having taken 15 years to build. Luke Charters discussed how affordable housing in York is one of his main priorities, to ensure that every young person in York has access to cost effective homes.
